Eminem is not always well liked by the public. He can be a little hard and a lot mean. His lyrics are hateful and extremely vulgar at times, but he's very real. His songs are filled with raw emotions because when he loves, he loves well, and when he hates, he hates with a passion. It sounds very cliche but I've always believed that there is a fine line between love and hate. He hates so hard because he loves so fierce. While many are turned off by Eminem, I embrace his music. There is an honesty and vulnerability to Mr. Marshall Mathers.
I don't know about anyone else but I loved this commercial. It was more then just a Chrysler ad, it was a quiet display of pride for the city of Detroit. Nicely done. I dig.

I'm not fond of raps especially since I find most lyrics in rap songs completely distasteful (to put it mildly) I do love Eminem a lot tho. His beats are always catchy and lyric wise, I appreciate that a lot of his songs have narrative sense to it and how they possess such a rawness of feelings in them. The feelings may not be something I can agree with but I like that they seem organic.
Or maybe it's just nice to hear a rap song about something other than "doing it in the shower" or something like that. This is why I turned to Asian pop. The lyrics are probably stupid as well but at least, I don't understand them 8D
I'm glad someone agrees with me. It's kinda tiresome having to justify why I enjoy his music. Btw, "the lyrics are probably stupid as well but at least, I don't understand them 8D." that's actually quite funny!!
