The trip is great for the great places and scenery, but not so great of the people there! I mean they are quite mean!!! I don't think I will travel to Europe, especially the Western Europe for a long time.
I heard from friends that they do treat tourist a bit more harsh than locals. My uncle lives in France and he said that they are not very tolerate of Americans.
Do you think it's because you're from Canada? I heard that Canadians are super nice and maybe that's why they seem so mean.
Glad you got to experience it though!! As for me...I want to visit Greece. It's so rich in history. But I also heard that they were not so friendly there either!!
I know a lot of nice Italian-Canadians here in Toronto, so, I expect the same thing in real Italy, but I'm wrong!!
I just thought that since their economy is in such a bad shape, shouldn't they treat Tourists well?? Tourists is more or less the people who paid their bills! Last year, I visited Japan and Korea, there's a huge gap in comparison.
I heard that Eastern European are nicer and it is cheaper to travel there as well. I may consider visiting Eastern Europe in the future.
I don't think Greece is a place to visit for now, the postesting is on the news almost everyday. But I would love to visit there as well, I want to live in one of the white houses bulit on the hill. looks so nice.
