Chris Medina, while on American Idol,
was accused of exploiting his fiancee and their
situation to gain sympathy votes from the judges.
Many were touched by his story, while others found him pretentious.
As for me, whether he's truly sincere or
just using his story for personal gains, matters not.
He was planning on spending the rest of his life with someone he loved.
No one, not even him, expected the turn of events.
He could have easily left. He didn't.
He made promises. He's honored them.
For that, he has my respect.
For that, he has my respect.
