numbered.

"Our 185 days are almost up.
Thank you for walking it with us Ms. Nowitzki"
-Camila Rocha 4th period

Another Happy Friday rolls in,
however, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today.
Though I'm ready for my summer,
I'm definitely going to miss this years crop of kids.
I've been teaching for almost 11 years now,
you would think that I'd be better at saying goodbyes.
Nope, not so much the case.

The end of the school year is always so bittersweet for me. There's the relief of being done and yet, there's the saying goodbye to the profs and fellow students, especially in a class you so enjoyed too.

Have some rest though, teacher! You guys so deserve it.

The hardest part about highschool was that we didn't have the support we received in junior high. It always felt like home when we walked the west wing of Stockard. The teachers made us feel like a cohesive unit.

Even though you never once expressed it, I know you're disappointed in me. You didn't see all this for me but surprisingly, I'm really good at being a mom.

Class of 09 loves you.
