I knew you were going to be a badass teacher the moment I stepped in your class. Dirk's face and Mavericks paraphernalia was all up on the wall. Eric said that Dirk was a weak white boy and you turned around and told him he was going to be a dead Mexican boy. That never gets old. That year you said that there were two things that we were not allowed to forget, Dallas Mavericks and good grammar goes a long way.
That was almost ten years ago. My grammar and respect for the Mavericks are still intact.
I know its a couple years too late, but Thank you and Tommy for taking me to my first Mavericks game. It's something a kid never forgets. Clear eyes, full hearts, indeed.
