just is.

The words she taught me are the shapes I see:
because she spoke the sun, it came to be.
-Rhina P. Espaillat

Teaching, it's who I really am.
It's the one thing I know how to do right...
The only thing I'm really good at.
For 185 days, I have my students.
I love them even when I hate them.
And that....I wouldn't change, not even on a bad day.

Never doubt your ability as a teacher. From my youngest brother to my baby sister, you have made a difference in our life. It's been almost ten years and your words still resonates with us. Thank you for getting me ready for my first real job interview straight out of college. You still won't let us fail. You said we will, so that's what we are.

Why you gotta go all smart on us and leave deep meaningful quotes?? Takes me back to the good ole times when we didn't have to worry about jack. Now we have to worry abpout resumes and stuff. You were right about rushing to grow up. Growing up kind of sucks. I can't freeload anymore!!

You need to hurry and unbusy yourself. How you going to get a newly college graduate addicted to kdrama and not be around to talk to me about it. For real, my lazy mexican ass been sitting around watching "Iris" instead off looking for jobs.
