Checking the mailbox for cards is something she easily gets excited about.

In such a materialistic time and age, I find that thought kind of comforting.

While it's extremely easy to purchase a gift, 

it takes quite a bit of time and sincerity to pen one's thoughts on to paper.

So it's great to know that there are a select few who truly value the gift of words.
